Need to replace bulb in light fixture on Hampton Bay Model TP-48, but can't figure out how to remove globe to get at bulb.

Not too difficuly but you must old the fan arms with one hand. Place your other hand on the glass part of the light bulb cover. Twist the glass cover one-quarter turn clockwise. This will unlock the glass from the fan. Make this a fairly quick motion so you use the momentum ofr the fan motor to help hold the unit from turning

New models have a friction fitted globe. Put some upward pressure on the globe and twist it left. If it is of this type, it should loosen and you can wiggle the globe down.
