    Small reoccurring bumps on head
Ok, this sounds kind of gross but I have to get some answers. I have been having bumps come up on my head, no rhyme or reason as to where they appear. They range from tiny to about half the size of a pea. I unconsciously pick at them occasionally and then they will ooze a little and scab over. I have one that has not healed for over a month now. I am a very clean person and don%u2019t have acne anywhere - never have and I wash my hair at least once a day. Any ideas as to what may be causing this would be appreciated.

Seborrhea. Clogged hair follicles can't release oil slowly and so form a little cyst type bump that oozes when pressed. It scabs because you pick at it.
Treatments vary and may be ongoing. You need to brush your hair (scalp, actually) with strong but not sharp bristles. Synthetic ones are best. Shampoo regularly and rinse well. Avoid wearing a tight fitting hat. Some people find that an antibiotic helps (a bacterial infection of the scalp may be involved) although it might return.

It can spread to the face or anywhere.

Stop washing your hair so much! Don't wash your hair more than once a day, don't use a ton of shampoo (short hair a blob the size of a quarter, long hair just a little more), and rinse well.
Try a rinse of vinegar followed by a little conditioner just to get rid of the vinegar smell.
