If he really cares for you and is trustworthy then there is no reason for you to worry. I also understand your worry as I am a guy and I know how guys think. The best advice I can give you is to discuss your situation with him in a non-threatening adult conversation and let him know how you feel, your apprehensions, and your concern. Ask him to give you feedback on your concerns so that communication is open between you two. Don't start throwing out accusations though because it will cause him to be defensive and not want to converse with you about a sensitive topic.

A man will not make an "exception" to cheat simply because he is traveling, a cheater is a cheater no matter where they are. With that said I think you have nothing to worry about since you say he has never given you any indication that he is that "type".

If you are worried that him being in the Caribbean will give him a false sense of "singleness",going on a vacation in another state is different then going on a vacation in another country. He will be out of his element, and probably not as comfortable doing such tabu things in a place and language he is not familiar with.

There is probably nothing that will change him going whether you are comfortable with it or not, so it is probably best just to be supportive and to be more concerned with his safety and how happy you will be when he returns.

Don't be so insecure. If he cheats you'll probably find out about it! Trust is so important in a relationship, without it there is no relationship. Respect him and tell him to have a nice time.

If your really that worried just tell him you need a bit of reassurance that he will be careful.
