Whirlpool lsq8511kqo fills with water but doesn't agitate or spin?
I think that's one of the newer "direct drive" washers. If so, they seem to have a common problem with the plastic motor coupling breaking. It's an easy fix and the new, improved coupler only costs about $10.
Yes it is a direct drive. And the plastic motor coupling is in good shape
Wow, I would have bet on the coupler. So, in a spin or agitate cycle, the drive motor is not running? If that's the case, I'd say you have an electrical control problem like a lid switch or the main control. If it's electrical I'd have to trouble shoot it with a VOM meter, tracing the current and checking for continuity in switches. Wish I could offer more specific help but at this point I'd have to trouble shoot it hands-on.
