    Where are you located, what country ? Did they go bankrupt, was it a corporation, what type of earnings pay ?

    I am in NJ and they got charged with Medicaid Fraud and closed the company down.

    Please don't use the Comments feature for followups, use the Answer options instead.

    Did they declare bankruptcy? If so, you have to file a claim with the bankruptcy court. Otherwise you are probably out of luck.

    What Scott said... you will have to get in line behind those with secured debts who have first crack at anything they have. Consider yourself lucky if you get pennies on the dollar of what you are owed.
