My computer can only start in safe mode. What can I do?
Hi, my name is etienne. I'm not very good with computers but I 'm not retarded too. One day when I opened my computer, it has not open normally. I had 3 or 4 choices. Start in safe mode, start in safe mode with networking, and wait if you don't know the cause of the problem and the computer will start normally. So I wait but it won't start normally and the screen start to blink 4 times before it went back to this page. So I click start in safe mode and it works. But this day, I was needed to go on the internet. So I restart my computer and start in safe mode with networking. But, it did the same thing. The screen blink about 4 time and it went back . So I re-click it. When all the file were displaying right after I click, I press escape because it said if you press escape it do something. And its works!so now I can go on the internet but only in safe mode and only when I press escape when the files are displaying right after I click start in safe mode with noetworking. But I don't know what I do to have a computer who only work in safe mode. Also, when I go on Google, sometine when I click on the results I don't go on the good page. Using Firefox , it says, "What is mmy referer?". Its very annoying. So can anyone could help me please it would be evry aprreciated.

As far as the safe mode is concerned:

Have there been any changes to the PC? Hardware, software, any new programs etc..

Do you have an AV you can scan your system while in safe mode? According to Microsoft this could be related to Norton conflicts. (do you have Norton or did you install Norton AntiVirus?)

When you're in safe mode uninstall these and see if that helps.
