    Mastitis with pregnant dog
Rescued a black lab female from the shelter a month ago, turned out she was pregnant. She's estimated 60 days, She's had milk for two weeks, I'm afraid mastitis may be developing as one of her teets feels hard. This isn't our first dog pregnancy. I've taken her temp everyday twice a day and its getting lower, 99 this morn. I'm hoping puppies will come, nurse and mastitis won't be a issue. Is there anything I can do to speed her pregnancy along?

Hi Loves, EHow website has some tips on inducing labour in dogs, but it requires some vet monitoring and injections of oxycontin.

eHow | How To Do Just About Everything! | How To Videos & Articles ›... › Inducing Dog Labor

You will have to enter inducing dog labour in their search feature

She delivered on the fourteenth of December, 7 puppies. :) All healthy and on they're way to weaning and new homes.
