    Setting toilet on concrete floor
Our new house in the country is built on a slope, with the septic tank downhill from the house. The plumbers installed all necessary supply and drains for a basement bathroom. I will not need an up flushing toilet, but am not sure how to mount the toilet. All I have is a 4" pipe sticking out of the floor. Is there a kit I need to obtain with the toilet to properly mount it?

Depending on whether the plumber installed a styrofoam closet wrapper before the floor was poured around the closet stub-up, you will need a inside or outside 4" closet flange, a set of closet bolts, a wax ring and a tube of White Dap Tub and Tile Caulk. Also a can of PVc primer and PVC cement. Good luck, Tom
