My Grandchild was taken by DCFS for a dirty house and they violated my rights
A month and a half ago DCFS in So California took my grandchild from my daughters apartment because she had a dirty apartment and her and her husband smoked pot under a Dr.'s order. I am not sure why they took them after they had them clean the place up and told them that was all they had to do. My wife and I had a case with my daughter back in 1995 that was resolved in the courts and we got her back and they are holding that case against us even though we did EVERYTHING they told us to do and the case with us was resolved and now DCFS won't place the child with us. This entire case is ridiculous and now after 3 court appearances the kid is still away from their parents and us and we will miss Christmas together this year because of this crap. What rights do I have as a grandparent?

I'm sorry, but DCFS is well within their rights to not place a child with a family that has a record with them. You rights are not being violated here. However, your daughter may have a complaint. Has she satisfied all the condition of having the children returned? If she has, then her next question should be why her children aren't back. She should be handling this, not you, as she and the father are the only people who have rights in this situation.
