I am 16 years old and I never had sex, I have been experiencing bleeding but barley any. When I use the bathroom nothing comes out, but when I wipe there is signs of blood.. Why? I am scared.

Menstrual cycles can be off during the teen years as hormones tend to fluctuate quite a bit and this can cause some irregular bleeding or spotting. Some people will have some spotting start up just before a period, so perhaps it is due to that.

If it continues, and you don't feel it has anything to do with a period, see about going in and having it checked at the doctor's. It will give you some peace of mind.
