I can't do anything in two words,

First I like neither for a girls, pink is just to expected and over done. And I just don't like purple for a room at all.

Some pink items of course to give contrast to a wall, but I would go with a good matching color to pink if you want it to use as a fill in

Chuck is right, pink is expected and a little over done. But I still love it. A nice light pastel shade of pink. I always love yellow too. Especially pink and yellow together.
