I have a honda eu3000 generator and I started it at night and in the morning it wasn't running... so I went out of the camper to see what happened... it had over half of tank if gas and the oil was full and looked clean but sounded weird when I cranked it over so I pulled the spark plug out and it had no compression?? It has 770 hours on it.

Sounded weird in what way? Big clunk is probably a broken connecting rod, whistling sound is burnt piston. Look in the plug hole-does the piston move when you crank it? can you see a hole in the piston? No compression is bad. Tell us what you see in the cylinder if you can.

He also said he took the spark plug out. I was wonder what the gauge said or did he just put his thumb on the hole.
It will spin fast with no plug in it.

True, hopefully they recognize that.

I found the problem... it was a stuck intake valve. But thanks for the ideas and advice!
