Me and this guy are really shy to talk and he asked me to be his girlfriend OVER TEXT and stupid of me I sad yes I broke up with him like 3 days later like a year went by and he stll has feelings for me and I don't like him at all I like someone else help me please

Shy people often don't know how to put their foot down, be firm and assertive. He may think you are being coy. You are doing him a favor by looking him in the eye and saying 'It's over, it never started, I never felt anything romantic toward you, there's nothing wrong with you but you just are really not my type at all.'

It probably be best to just ignore him and distance yourself from him. The less attention he receives from you the better. You should definintly do what joypulv said.

Just be straight to him. If you don't like him just tell him, because it will hurt him more if you ignore him.
