I cosigned for my sister on an apartment 08/15/2010 and then another agreement was filled out 08/30/2010 but my sister signed where the cosigner was suppose to sign which was me. I received a 3 day notice from the landlord for $936 unpaid rent. Do you think I can get out of this responsibility? How can someone get out of a contract after co-signing an agreement. The agreement states that the co-signer agreement is in force until she moves out. Help
