I had unprotected sex on a Friday and right after my period started it was time for it anyway it was heavy and normal like I'm used to except on the 4th day of it it abruptly stopped no slowing down just stopped and I keep getting feelings of I guess you would call them butterflies and I'm not sure why it stopped like that and my periods always go from a Friday to a Friday. My lower abdomen is a bit tight feeling. Help Please?

It would be TOO soon to tell if you had gotten pregnant.

Some times periods aren't consistent.

If you are that worried, then I would wait until your next period is due. If your next period is late by a week or so, then I would take a pregnancy test.

Again though, it is to soon to even tell.

If you are pregnant it would be way too early for butterflies, or any other symptoms. Reproduction doesn't work that quickly.

It could be that you're just having an off month. Wait until your next period, if you miss that, take an hpt, use first morning urine, or see your doctor for a blood test.

If you don't get pregnant this month you can always try again. It takes the average couple anywhere to 1 year to conceive, so don't lose hope.

The best thing to do, is to take a pregnancy test using your morning urine. Wait until you are a week late to do so.

It's hard for us to determine if you are/aren't.
