All the other document details are perfect, but a dark smudge line appears down the middle of the page often though not always.
Suggestions?

Is the dark line ink or some other smudge? If it is ink Run the print head cleaning utility if your print driver has one if this dose not help then remove the cartridges and clean the printer replace with new ink and make sure that the ink is seated properly and try again. If it is not ink clean the paper path.
