I had protected sex with my husband but the condom broke. Although he did not ejaculate and pulled out as soon as the condom broke I am worried. We had sex on 21 of nov. My periods are due by 8th of every month today being 9th and I still haven't got my periods. Even 17 days later I have no signs of pregnancy like sore breasts, darkening of areola, light bleeding etc. I would really be thankful if anyone could suggest on what to make of this. Are these symptoms definitely occur when one is pregnant? We are not quite prepared of it as of yet.

Symptoms vary from woman to woman and even pregnancy to pregnancy in the same woman. The only way to know for sure would be to take a test.

So I took a test today, twice... it was negative... my period was due on 8th... it has not come as of yet, but pregnancy test was negative... guess I am not pregnant... :)

You could try another test in a few days if your period still hasn't showed. Or call your doctor if you're concerned.
