    1993 integra not starting.
Down to no grd on main relay pin 8 (from ECM) to turn on fuel pump. I have replaced a lot of parts. Noticed tonight that the cel goes out after about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes , the fuel pump turns on for 2 sec and she starts right up. Not getting any error codes with service plug jumpered. So far I have replaced the dist cap, rotor, plug wired, ignition coil, ignitor, main relay and check wiring from main relay to ignition sw.

Intermittent ECM failure. Replace it and your problem should be solved.

Repair or replace the ECM. That's OBD so there should be plenty available. Let me know it you need help.
    GSR or not?
    Manual or Auto transmission?

Thanks, I was afraid the ECM was my problem. I have a manual trans. Two more questions though, 1. What tells the ECM to turn out CEL, I noticed that the CEL goes out in less time each time I turn ignition off and on ( 3 min, then 1 min then 26 seconds cel goes out and car starts)? 2. What is OBD?

An algorithm inside the ECM, if the complete system checks out okay. OBD = On-Board Diagnostics. Your car has an OBD-I system.

Remove your old ECM, first, and get an exact Honda Part No. match--no exceptions. This link should help:

Shop for price and warranty. Not a difficult job.

The CEL is motivated by emissions. If your vehicle is putting out more than one and one half the federal limit, the light will come on. Even if it isn't polluting that bad, if the ECM calculates that it will if operated under certain conditions, the light will come on.
If your check engine light is coming on, can you get the code that is being stored and let us know?

**edit**: send me a private message and I will give you an exact quote for either repairing your module or replacing as necessary, plus explaining the steps to complete.
