    I have 11 week old pitbull and I geave him single rib and he chewed it for around 2mins and then swallowed the hole rib

    You should never ever give a young puppy bones like that to chew. No it isn't okay if he swallows the whole bone. Keep a close eye on him for the next couple of days. If he becomes lethargic, doesn't want water or food, I would rush him to the vet.

    And don't do that again, you could kill him

    I don't think so because there digestive system isn't big enough unless it was a really tiny single rib.

    Never give your dog bones from a meal. Chicken, pork, ham, beef, etc. bones that you cook in a dinner for yourself and give your dog the reminants of can be fatal. The bones chip, split and break, which can puncture your dog's esophagus and digestive system. I suggest reading up on dogs in general, but specifically what is harmful to them edible-wise. If you want to give your dog a treat, go to the butcher or meat section of your grocery store. They have cow bones filled with marrow (which is actually what dogs are after when they want a bone). The cow bone is too thick and big to break/shatter during chewing, yet I suggest supervision at all times.
