    Length Of A Rental Lease
I am trying to find out if a rental agreement in the length of 10 yrs, without any increases for cost of living is legal and binding in the state of Florida. In addition, the landlord was 83 yrs old and does remember signing it... Thanks for any info you can give me

    Hello D:

Sure. Why wouldn't it be? Maybe it's not a GOOD deal, but it's legal. Unless, of course, the landlord is not competent to do business... But, that's not the tenant's fault. Because (s)he remembers, doesn't mean (s)he's competent.

Yes if it is in writing, it is legal.
