Can I press charges for abandonment from my husband?
My husband is having affair with another woman. He says he wants to work things out with me. He's left me and our 3 children at the house before to be with this other woman and we hardly had any food in the fridge no money and no car.. Can I press charges against him if he does it again?

No. It's not illegal to cheat. If he abandoned his kids somewhere to go cheat then you could have him charged But he left them with their mother. My question is. If he keeps cheading, why do you stay with him. Get a divorce, Custody, Child Support and Alimony. I wouldn't stay with a person who cheated.

You can't press charges, but you can file for divorce and ask for support.

Don't allow him to keep hurting you this way. You deserve a good life with someone who loves and respects you.

What state is this in? In some states its allowed if he is the sole breadwinner.

The charge differers even in meaning from state to state.
Have you filed for divorce, for child support ?
