How to deal with a clingy sort of guy?
Moved to its own thread and edited

I met a wonderful man but he is super sensitive and very affectionate sometimes too much. He is always wanting to hug and follows me around while I am at home like my shadow. I know he likes me and I like him but it is too much.
I have tried hinting like stating boundaries but he doesn't seem to catch on to the hints. I feel bad and almost ridiculous for feeling this way because there are so many crappy men in this world with no respect for women and here I have one that is.

Some of us sensitive guys don't take hints that well, but a direct, calm approach we listen to, though you may have to repeat it a few times, until it sinks in.

Be thankful that you have a loving attentive fellow. Many women long to have that special fellow that shows them attention.

Just be open with him and tell him how you feel. If he's really a great guy, he'll listen and heed your wishes.

Thank you I was very honest with him and he was very understanding. He told me to just let him know if he is getting in my "bubble" lol

Thank you for your advice I heard it loud and clear and just told him up front. I think I was just nervous about hurting his feelings but he took it well.
