Starting over. What can I do ?
A question to add to the original question... If someone is going through a divorce, in the same situation (having a new significant other), and there are children involved, can the person, who does NOT have a new significant other, legally not allow the one who does to not be able to see the children? I am in Michigan.

    Hello s:

If you have a visitation agreement set up, then you can't violate it. If you DON'T yet have a visitation agreement, if you deny the father visitation, when it comes time for the judge to order a visitation agreement, your vindictiveness will be taken into consideration.

The children NEED their father - even if you are pissed at him.

I moved this post to its own thread as the one it was posted to was over 3 1/2 years old. Please try to keep an eye on the dates when responding to an existing thread. You question will be better served standing on its own.
