Would you buy your children these?
I was looking through the Toy R Us catalog that came in today's paper. There were two "toys" that kind of bothered me.
    1) SPY GEAR Spy Video TRAKR: Remote-Control vehicle with camera is loaded with apps to see in the dark, map out mission paths and have robotically enhanced vision With full color screen and sounds. Ages 8-up
    2) AIR HOGS Hawk Eye: Records up to 5 minutes of video or hundreds of pictures in flight. View and edit them on your computer. Ages 8-up

I know I'm bothered by anyone having the ability to control a remote model copter that could, for instance take video from an upper floor window. Or a rolling camera that can be sent into private places. Any allowing children to play with such devices?? What are these toy manufacturers thinking of??

    Hi Scott...

Have you heard of the VIDEO BARBIE doll selling this year? Turns out the FBI actually sent out a warning, that wasn't supposed to be made public but was, that these dolls could be used to record/create child porn. Check it out @

This is very scary stuff because as we all know if you give these pedophiles/child pornographers a chance they will find a way to exploit and use against children, for sure.

So, yeah, my opinion, these are not very wise toys for adults or children... ;)

Hadn't heard about that one, but digital video is probably the biggest boon to pedophiles ever.

But I wasn't even thinking along those lines. I was thinking more about turning kids into peeping toms.
