    Hi Buck...

Is this an LG washing machine? If so, are we talking about the washing machine hoses? Let me know more, OK?

No, it is a french door - bottom freezer refrigerator. The water lines keep breaking in the back of the fridge. Just one line and it seems to be brittle to the touch...

What color is the pipe... copper color, by chance?

Also, how hard would it be to run a whole new water line and how far back from the fridge/freezer to the water shutoff?

We are talking the external water supply tubing, right?

    Let me know...

Any big box store have Ice Maker kits. It sounds like you have a plastic supply that has turned brittle with age. This doesn't happen in my area, We run all our Ice Maker lines in 1/8th"? Soft copper. To replace your line simply follow the same path as the old line. Good luck, Tom
