Trying to find DIP code on my Overhead Door model 45a
I have an Overhead Door model 45a garage door opener. I am trying to find the DIP switch settings on the unit. Can anyone tell me where to look?

Some of them are under the cover for the unit, on the control board. You may need to remove the light and then 4 screws and take off the cover. Others are located on the back of the unit. Get a step ladder and look. Some don't have dip switches, they are smart button controlled and roll the code every time the door is used. Have you contacted Overhead Door Co? They are usually helpful.

Call Overhead Door and talk with the parts department. They told me there were several variations on how this model works. Mine had a series of looped wires on the circuit board. I told them which wires had been cut and then they looked up the corresponding dip switch code for me.
