    What is satellite TV for the home owner.. I see the adds... aining at maybe 3 positions... 99... 109... 110... or something like that... if I get one... is it free from the satellites? do I also need a box for the TV or just plug it in from the satellite wires?. is it just the analog sations?. just for TV in the garage or a spare room is all I'd like to have... anything on the ditigal channels?
    Thank you for your help or a web site that explanes it all...

    Satellite TV works by pointing an antenna at an orbiting satellite that beams video down to the antenna. You still need a set-top box to receive and translate the signals for your TV to display.
