What do I need to do to evict a person living in my home in Ohio?
My sister and I owned a home togeather, then I bought her out, 8 months ago. Now she won't leave, she was paying rent but now she stopped. I have a family and we need our space . I WANT HER OUT! What can I do?

If you had an agreement that she pay rent, then server her with a three day pay or quit notice. If she still refuses to leave, then, when the 3 days expire, go to housing court and file for an eviction order.

The drawback to a pay or quit is that if she pays up she stays. You would then have to serve her with a 20 day termination notice assuming that there is no lease and she is a on a month to month basis.
