Lg side by side / there are 2 white plastic water lines running 2 filter back down 2 blue valve where water line hooks up. The thicker line has a split in it and is spewing water all over. I now have to replace my floor because its buckled.

I went down to my local ace hardware and they advise me to cut the plastic line and put a compression coupling in place. This saved me hours of work. I cut off about one inch of the plastic line and the fitting has a farell that slides inside the line so the plastic line won't collapes. The line had some wiggle room, so i was able to do this repair job in about ten minutes. Not so sure if i will every buy another lg product.
