Toilet leak at base and noises
My toilet makes a flushing noise after it is flushed off and on every couple of times it is flushed. I just changed the flapper on it and now we have water leaking at the base minutes after the I flush. I checked for any cracks on the bowl or tank and nothing? I have also placed newspaper under the base of the toilet, after I dried the floor around base. When I pulled the paper out I only noticed a ring of water where the ceramic toilet touched the newspaper, and the middle of the wet ring was dry. Does anyone have an idea how I can stop the noises and more importantly the leaking? Please advise me with your wisdom, my toilet is driving me crazy!

Sounds like you have two issues. Your toilet drain is partially clogged and your wax ring is shot. Pull the toilet to replace the ring, while the toilet is off snake the line.

Your buy or rent a snake or rod and twist it as you shove it down the drain pipe. Home Tips : How to Snake a Drain Clog That or hire a plumber or handyman
