Bought a harbor breeze edenton ceiling fan, lights are really dim, I have 4 40 watts candela bra bulbs replaced with 60 watts no difference, any sugesstions

Is this a remote controlled fan? If so, hold down the button with the lightbulb icon and see if that fixes it.
