Water temperature lukewarm in shower, but fine everywhere else
Hi, hoping that someone can help a very annoying problem!

Just moved into a new house. The problem is the shower. It only comes out at a lukewarm temperature that is only just about bearable, and not in these winter months! It has two handles, one for pressure and one for temperature. However no matter what you do, the temperature does not change- it does not get hotter or colder, just the same horrible lukewarm.

The hot taps in the sinks around the house are all fine, nice and hot. What can I do to sort it out? I'm at a loss :(

That temp handle is on a mixing valve with a hot and cold inlet. The hot inlet sounds like its clogged. Your need to close your main, remove and clean the cartridge or ball mixing valve, then reinstall. Without a model or brand I can't be more specific
