Hiya I had a termination back in August at 9weeks.. I had heavy bleeding and bad pains for about a week after. After this periods went back to normal and were bang on time.but recently I have been bleeding really heavy at ramdon times of the month.. is this something I should be worried about? I'm 23.

Did you have a follow-up exam after the termination? Was it a surgical or medicated termination? Are you on any sort of birth control?

Whenever you have random bleeding, especially when your periods are regular, it is wise to have things checked out. It may have nothing to do with the termination, could be due to some types of birth control for example, or uterine changes, but you won't know unless you go in.

I had a surgical termination and wasn't asked back for a follow up exam? No not on any birth control but did take the morning after pill a month ago. Thank you.

It may be from the morning after pill then. It is common to have some irregular bleeding after its use. See what happens this month and whether you have just a normal period. If you still have random bleeding, would be a good idea to see your doctor for an exam for the peace of mind.
