Hi, I am in US for the first time from March 2010 till date in H1B visa. I am working here and Chase bank has asked me to sign W-8BEN or W9 form for Tax identification and Certification. I have not filed by tax returns yet. Is it OK to send just the W-8BEN form

No, you will submit form W-9 as you have SSN and are working in U.S.
