    Can there be a fan installed on a arch fault breaker
    I installed a fan light combination the bedroom is on an arch fault breaker when I turn on the light it breaks the circuit could anyone answer why Please Thank you

    Its ARC fault and yes you can use them on a fan. Does it trip with the fan too or just the light?

    Try using a better grade switch, the arcing a cheap switch may cause can trip an AFCI.

    It will also trip from an unbalanced load of the hot and neutral of the Arc fault circuit.
    Hot of the Arc fault and neutral from another circuit will cause it to trip, as well as a neutral from an arc fault, and hot from another circuit.
