I once watched a movie that might have been based in the late 80s to maybe the mid 90s.. It was about a American guy that went to france and saw a girl met a girl on a bus thinking to never se her again but some how found this French girl again.. Eventually fell in love and got married and so on.. Later on in the movie there are scenes of the guy falling out of love and hating this french girl but she was still madly in love with him and did not won't to let him go. Basically this drove the bloke to be an absolute arse hole to her in the end. Towered the end of the movie he some how got himself in a wheel chair and now he has found this French girl looking after him all over again.. This ended with the French woman getting payback in the end bringing other guys back for him to watch.. As he was always out looking fir other women.. Either way in the end there was a gun and I think the American in the wheel chair gets shot or someone gets shot on a cruise ship to end the movie... I think. That is how I sort of remember the movie and would like to watch it again.. I would have watched this movie maybe some 8 years ago.. If anyone can help me with the name of this movie that would be muchly appreciated
