My dog is a small chihuahua and she was chewing a pork bone. I threw it away and the next day I got home from school and she was breathing heavy, wouldn't move much, shaking and it hurt her to pick her up by her ribs. It's been storming all week so I can't take her to the vet, what should I do? I'm scared for her

Weather should be no deterent if your little pet needs a vet visit; sounds like some bone is stuck somewhere where it should not be and could be lethal eventually.

If you are able to get to school, than you are able to get to a vet. I am sorry, but your dog is in distress. You owe it to him to get him to the vet asap! This blockage could be deadly.
