How much of your mouth is numb? Yes you should call the dentist. Rextraction can disturb a nerve as well as injections. Nerves take quit some time to heal if they are damages, months if ever. There may be little the dentist can do but let him check you out to be safe.

Definitely your dentist should be aware of the prolonged numbness. You may have some parasthesia which is caused when a nerve is damaged during tooth extraction. This most commonly happens when lower teeth are removed.
