    Contest a deed in Florida.
My father purchased a piece of property for all of his children about 15 years ago. He kept the deeds in his name in case one of the spouces got greedy and wanted to sell the property. About 3 years ago he transferred all of the properties to his children and their spouces. Well I am on the verge of a divorce and wanted to know if there was a way to get my spouce off the deed? I appreciate any help that or advice that I can get. I will hire an atty. I was just curious if there is any chance to get this done. Once again thank all of you for your help

If all his children's names are on the deed as well as their spouses they are all owners in common. Anyone can buy his share but he can't just be removed from the deed.

Maybe I was not clear, My father purchased several properties for the children. Each of us received 2 properties and he kept them in his name for many years. He transferred the deed a few years ago. I was told that I could contest the transfer.

I better understand your situation but it does not change anything in my mind. You can consult a lawyer about it but the way I see it, and likely a judge, you only contested now because of the pending divorce. None of the others contest their so you'd be the odd man out in the court room.

If the divorce was not pending at the time of the transfer, I can't see any grounds to contest.

Did he break some rule or did he transfer it improperly at the time.
Is both names, listed, and how are they listed.

But if his name is specificly listed and the transfer was none properly, there is nothing to contest
