I have a Maytag dishwasher that does not seem to be rinsing or drying well. After the entire cycle is finished, the dishes have a dry white powder on them and the plastic ones are still very wet. I'm using liquid dishwasher (only a small amount) and jet dry. I don't think the rinse aid is being released because the level has been full for several months! Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same problem with a 14 year old Kitchen Aid Dishwasher and would appreciate feedback as well.

Ps- I don't have a water softener and it used to work. Any idea how to fix the rinse aid dispenser?

Mine is doing samething
