I’ve only been with one guy and we were both virgins. We've been sleeping together for a couple of months and everything had been going fine, until recently I started getting yeast infections (or what I assume were yeast infections). I bought some over the counter medication and it worked the first few times but this past week I got another one (the fact that I keep getting them worries me, because I know that I'm not pregnant). I treated it the same as I had been, and it seemed to get better, but then I got these really tender bumps by my vaginal opening and they haven’t gone away. They are tender to the touch and hurt when I urinate. My brain is telling me that it has to be something other than a STD because we have both only been with each other, but every website I go to practically has HERPES flashing in neon lights. I'm hoping that that’s just a scare tactic intended to make sure people go and get tested (which worked, I have an exam scheduled for tomorrow morning), but I can’t imagine that there’s no other cause? I'm trying to avoid a full blown panic attack here... Anyone have some alternatives?
