I am 36 weeks pregnant. I have been getting a lot more discharge than normal the past 3 days or so. It has been white, see through and mostly tinted green in colour. When I have been getting light green discharge its been very slimy. But today I had a couple of small light green jelly-like bits in my liner.
Is this my mucus plug? How long after starting to lose it do people usually give birth?

It very well could be your mucus plug. Usually it will be clear/white with perhaps some streaks of blood, but it can sometimes be slightly green or yellow looking as well.
It may regenerate and/or you may see more of it at a later time. It is a sign of preparation but labor could still be weeks away.
