My 16 year old daughter is a natural blonde. For the past year she has been dying her hair brown. Recently she put a temporary black on her hair and then stripped the color out and tried to put blonde back in. Her hair is orange. Is there anything she can do? I really can't afford to pay to go to a professional. Please help!!

In order to go from dark hair to blonde, you must bleach the hair to a yellow or light yellow level and then apply a toner. Hair color removal products will make the hair orange or brassy, and if you apply apply a blonde hair color over it, it will end up an unpleasant shade. This process is difficult to do, and should only be attempted by a professional. If you can't go to the salon, ask someone who has experience in hair coloring to help you fix your daughter's hair.
