    My engine coolant finishes quickly.
I have a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara V6. The car runs perfectly fine except for some jerking due to the 4wd. But my engine coolant is finishing quickly. There are no leaks or anything. It just burns out quickly. Can anyone tell me why this happens and how to fix the problem?

Have the cooling system pressure tested--there may be a blown head gasket. If so, the coolant may be being burned in the cylinders. Do you have white smoke in the exhaust? Did the engine ever overheat?

Engine overheating has warped the aluminum head, causing the head gasket to leak and coolant to be burned in the combustion chambers. The head likely needs machining, the valves examined for damaged, and the head gasket replaced ($2,500+).
