    My sewage pump.
I have a liberty pumps sewage pump. Model # 372/LE41A. I've had it since 1997 and it recently stopped working? The manual says that it could be a blown fuse, defective switch, short, switch is unable to move due to an obstacle or insufficient liquid level. I tried plunging, and the water seeps through crease of the cover of pump. What do you think is the problem and how can it be fixed? And where is the fuse located?

    Hi Cyril...

Unplug the pump plug(s) from its wall receptacle and plug a light or a tool into the receptacle. If there is no power the issue is between the fuse box/electrial panel and the receptacle (up to and including the receptacle)... check the fuse box or the electrical breaker panel.

If there is power then the issue is could be a defective float switch, but only if you have TWO PLUGS for your pump system. Otherwise, the issue is under the lid and you will need to gain access to the pump/float and see what you find in the pit... *UGH*

Two plugs or one? Let me know.

    Back to you...
