Over a month w/ no peiord and 3 negative pregnancy tests
Hi, its been just under 2 months without having my period, I'm usually regular, I took 2 HPT and 1 from my local health unit and they all came back negative. I took the first on 1 week after my missed period and the second one 3 days later, about a week later I went and got one done from a doctor and it came back negative. He said wait two weeks if nothing happens take another one but bets it will be negative too.. I haven't done one yet, I'm just wondering if its worth buying another one or just going to the doctors for blood work, I don't even how to do that?. I haven't had any pregnany signs (I do have to pee more often?)... my boyfriend jokes by saying he's notice some signs but I am hoping he's joking. I was just wondering is it possible to be pregnant and get negatives? When would be a good time to tell if I am or not (when trying to do a test) wats the easiest way to find out?

You have really covered your bases more then enough worried. Go again to your doctor for blood work test. This test measures the pregnancy hormone in your blood, it is a simple drawing off enough blood to use to test. You have already had that done, as you say, and your doctor said negative. I would go with that. But... if it makes you rest easier, have him do another in two weeks as he suggested.

It's very possible to get negative test results and still be pregnant. It happens. Some women never get a positive even in their ninth month of pregnancy.

Wait the recommended 2 weeks and get the blood work done. If you opt to take a hpt make sure to use first morning urine, it's more concentrated and therefore more accurate.

    Good luck.
