For the past two days my pitbull Tigger refuses to eat. I got him to eat yesterday by making him eat his dog food out of my hand. We just got him recently, he was an abused dog and I picked him up off the street. I'm really worried-he's usually food aggressive and extremely greedy. Can someone tell me what I should do? I don't want to take him to the vet if it's something I can do myself.

He acts the same. Happy and playful... he just doesn't eat.

He more than likely has worms. Best to take him to the vet to get properly dewormed and checked out. When dogs have worms they tend not to have much of an appatite.
