My entire house smells of sewer since it's been raining the past two days.
It started Thursday morning when I flushed the upstairs toilet my husband said he heard the downstairs bathroom toilet and kitchen sink start to really gurgle. Then ever since my home has been filled with sewage smell. It left for a short time but came back again. Help it's awful.

    Hi Robing...

With the information provided, It sounds like a blocked main roof vent here and your sewer system is burping trying to let air into the system which lets sewer gasses escape from the system and cause the odors you are having... UGH!

Here, have your hubby go up to the roof and shine a light down the vent... see if there is a nest or leaves (or anything else) blocking the vent. If so, clear it out and you should be back up and running WITHOUT the noise... ;)

That being said, it could also be the main drain line starting to clog up and the smells are a result of the waste hitting the blockage and pushing backward to expel air from the system,. again, causing odors.

If this was me, I would fill the tub upstairs and then drain the tub while flushing the toilets everywhere... see what happens. If all you get is burps/gurgles then the vent is most likely the issue. If the drains back up, then the drain needs to be snaked to clear the issue.
