I wasn't in a long term relationship(4 months). But I loved him very much. He broke it off with me. He called me all the time in the beginning. So when I didn't here from him for a week, I asked why he hasn't called, then he said; you can pick up the phone can't you. I told him, that I thought the man liked to do the pursuing. He said; guys like that usually dump you once they have you. This man is 49 years old and never been married. I was as sweet and understanding as I could be with him. He said; the longest relationship he has ever had was 3 years. Is he a commitment phobe. He said; it wasn't anything I did. It's not what he wanted. What's up with this Man?

Apparently he is the love them, and leave them type of guy. Whatever his issues are, he isn't likely to come back, or want to.

Don't waste any more time on this fellow.
