    Garbage disposer
Would it be smart for me to get a new garbage disposal when I replace my sink? Money is tight, but if it will save me money in the long run I'll do it. Old one is about 8 years old.

I would suggest if it works you don't have to replace it at this time mine is about 15 years and it still works great, good luck.

    Letitbe111...

If you will be replacing the sink and disposal yourself and the disposal is in good condition I say you use the old one for a few more years... super easy to swap a new one in when needed (if you're handy).

If, however, you're hiring a plumber I would recommend having them install a new one and be done with it for years to come. Here, I'd definitely recommend the INSINKERATOR disposal series (also called the PRO series in some areas).

Let me know if you'd like to discuss more, OK?

    Hey John...

We posted at the same time or I wouldn't have even posted to the question. Your answer is spot on!

    Thanks...
